In the first game of the night, Ella Swigert collected three hits in four at bats, as Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers defeated Lapeer 12-6.

Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Katie Sabolish singled, scoring two runs. 

A double by Alexa Glady extended the Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers lead to 4-0 in the top of the second inning.

Glady earned the win for Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers striking out 13. 

 

Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers amassed 16 hits in the game. Sabolish provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers with three runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-4 on the day. Glady went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers in hits. Brynn Wolinski, Swigert, Sarah Fox, and Makayla Stewart each collected multiple hits. 
 

In the second game of the night, Lapeer defeated Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers 17-3. 

Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers were the first to get on the board in the first when Brynn Wolinski singled, scoring two runs.

Lapeer took the lead, 5-2, in the bottom of the second on base hits. 

Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers scored one run in the top of the third on a solo home run to center field by Sarah Fox on a full count.

Lapeer scored 11 runs on seven hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. 

Fox led Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers with one run batted in. The pitcher went 1-for-3 on the day. Morgan Woodbury, Wolinski, Fox, Alexa Glady, and Makayla Stewart each collected one hit for Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers. Stewart stole four bases. Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers ran wild on the base paths, collecting five stolen bases for the game. Powers Catholic Varsity Chargers turned one double play in the game.
