Powers Girls Varsity Lacrosse Extends Winning Streak to Three with 19–10 Victory Over Midland Dow.
The Powers Catholic girls varsity lacrosse team continued their impressive run, securing their third consecutive win by defeating Midland Dow 19–10.
Junior Zandria Grossi led the charge with an outstanding performance, scoring 6 goals and adding 2 assists. Lauren Lavoie and Chaeli Daclison each netted 5 goals, with Daclison also contributing 2 assists. Anna Evanoff was dominant on the draw, winning 9 ground balls and tallying 2 goals and 2 assists of her own. Senior, Lillian Smith stood strong on defense with four ground balls and two forced turnovers. In goal, Sophie Belott stood strong, making 10 saves to help seal the victory.
