The Powers Girls Swim & Dive Team headed into the Saginaw Valley League Championships this past weekend with some lofty goals and showed that they were up to the task. Their hard work and dedication this season paid off as they achieved nine state cuts on their way to a 3rd place finish for the 3rd year in a row! Being the only Division 3 school in the Saginaw Valley League the girls exceeded expectations as 12/24 swimmers made finals and helped make this incredible team performance possible. Individually there were some amazing performances that led to Powers having a swimmer in the A final in 10 out of 11 events. Highlighted below are just some of the accomplishments in a meet where there were nearly best times across the board.
