The Flint Powers Men’s lacrosse team moves to 3-0 on the season with a 19-2 rout of the Bay City Central Wolves. “Team First” was the theme of the game as the Chargers offense score 19 total goals, of which 13 were assisted (68%). Key performances were turned in by Seniors Charlie Fritz and Max Phillpotts. Fritz tallied 7 total points (3G/4A) to lead all Chargers, as Phillpotts landed 5 Goals on 9 shots. Sophomore Ryan Hamlin also showed a spark by netting his first career Hat Trick on an efficient 3 of 3 shooting.   

Flint Powers kept the pressure on by dominating the middle of the field by going 14 of 22 (63.6%) on face offs, successfully clearing 15 of 21 (71.4%) as well as forcing the Wolves to earn every possession by denying 21 of 25 clearing attempts and ending the game with an outstanding 84% successful ride percentage.

The Chargers Men’s lacrosse program travels to Midland Thursday 4/12 for a Varsity only contest. Game start time is 7pm.
