The Lady Chargers golf team qualified for the MHSAA State Finals at the Division 3 Regional #16 held at Pine River Country Club in Alma, MI. There were 10 teams and 54 golfers playing in the tournament. The 3 top teams in each Regional advance to the MHSAA State Finals.
Goodrich finished 1st with an impressive score of 347, Freeland finished 2nd with a score of 378 and Powers Catholic finished with a score of 379 to secure the last State Final spot. Lillee-Ann Jacobs fired an 83 to finish 4th earning a Top 5 medal. Ali Anderson 96 (tied for 11th), Maria Gavulic and MaKenna Hodorovich both shot 100 (tied for 16th) and Ava Begola 112 (tied for 29th) rounded out the scoring.
The Lady Chargers will compete in the MHSAA Finals 2-day tournament beginning on Friday, October 20th at the Meadows (GVSU) in Allendale, MI.
