The Chargers won a huge SVL tilt Tuesday night on the road defeating Grand Blanc 62-58 in overtime. The game was a back and forth affair all night with neither team able to pull away. Grand Blanc held a 29-24 halftime lead before a strong 3rd quarter for Powers saw them leading by 5 heading into the 4th. Javontae Ross hit a free throw with 30 seconds left to tie the game before it ultimately went into overtime. Dempsey Cull hit 2 threes to start the period which gave them the lead for good in overtime. Javontae Ross led the Chargers with 14 points and 6 assists. Dempsey and Jesse Cull both added 12 points and Connor Kelly tallied 11 points and 15 rebounds. The Chargers are back on the road Friday night to face Bay City Western.
