Powers Defeats Caro 91–14 The freshman boys secured another dominant win in blowout fashion. The Chargers broke the game open immediately with a full-court press that put them up by 20 within the first few minutes. That pressure continued throughout the game, resulting in a mind-blowing 77-point victory. Powers took excellent care of the ball, committing only 3 turnovers while forcing an incredible 43. TJ Garner made a massive impact, leading the game in scoring, steals, and assists with 15 points, 9 steals, and 4 assists while shooting 70% from the field. Ant Steveson followed closely with 14 points, 6 steals, and 5 offensive rebounds. Gavin McCartney added 12 points and 8 steals while shooting 60%. Mike Marshall provided great minutes off the bench, scoring 12 points and grabbing 4 offensive rebounds. Jahon Smith was also fantastic, finishing with 10 rebounds, 7 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals. A great second win to kick off the season.
