Freshman Chargers Roll Past Flint Carmen Ainsworth, 79–21 The Powers Catholic freshman boys basketball team dominated from start to finish, cruising to a 79–21 win over Flint Carmen Ainsworth. The Chargers set the tone early with relentless defense and unselfish offense, building a commanding lead that never let up. Powers showcased its depth and ball movement as 11 different players scored in the blowout victory. Cooper Sexton led the way with 10 points, knocking down two three-pointers, while Leukes Dickerson also added 10 points. The Chargers were hot from beyond the arc, with Jahon Smith, Tino Hill, and Sexton each hitting multiple threes. Across four games, the freshman Chargers have outscored opponents 318–79, winning by a combined +239 points. That breaks down to an average score of 79.5–19.8, an eye-popping average margin of victory of nearly 60 points per game.
