On Thursday evening, the Chargers of JV Girls Soccer made their way to Lake Fenton for their opening game of the season. Although they carried the pace of play for the majority of the first half, the Chargers found themselves down 1-0 at halftime. In the second half, all of the possession was played in their opponents' half. Eden Ralbusky leveled the game at 1-1 halfway through the second half. It was assisted by Jillian Crumm. Play would resume, and with two minutes to spare, Eden Ralbusky would find her second of the night, assisted by Maisie Ferguson, to put the Chargers up 2-1. The final score was Chargers 2 - Lake Fenton 1. With a win in their opening game of the season, the JV team has tied their win total from last season. Making their debut in the sport of soccer were Jillian Crumm, Isabelle Mark, Sarah Hendler, Ella Randazzo, Kensley LaBelle, and Laney Applegate. They all played a crucial role in the Chargers' first win of the season. The JV team travels to Rochester Stony Creek on Monday for a 5:30 PM tilt.
