Powers Catholic High School

The girls varsity soccer team opened their season with an impressive 5–1 victory over Lake Fenton. It was a total team effort from start to finish. Bella White got things started with a strong header, assisted by Bryce Butler. Lake Fenton answered shortly after, but Maddy McAvoy quickly regained the lead with a goal off an assist from Kyla Nahs. From there, the Chargers found their rhythm. Kyla Nahs added another goal, assisted by Kendell Schanezer, followed by a goal from Vivi Conley off a great setup by Maddy McAvoy. Kyla Nahs capped off the night with her second goal, assisted by Samantha Nanney, to seal a dominant and exciting season opener.
