The men’s and women’s track teams each won a home dual against Lapeer. Michaela Wolosuk led a 1-2-3 sweep of the 100, 200 and 400 meter dashes for the Chargers. Fhalinn Samuels was 2nd in the 100 and freshman Journey Caywood was 3rd. In the 200 Wolosuk was followed by Victoria Bouchey and Evah Smith. Smith Showed off her range and athletic ability by also taking first in the shot put and discus along with a 5th place finish in the 400 meter run with the fine time of 1:09.64. Smith’s personal record of 90’1 moves her up to 7th on the all time lists. Victoria Bouchey was 2nd in the 400 and anchored the winning 1600 meter relay team. Bouchey was joined by Sara Piper, Lily Potochny and Mila Villarreal on the 1600 meter relay. Villarreal also won the 1600 meter run. Elle Doherty won the high jump tying her season best of 4’10 and she picked up 3rd place in the 400 with a career best 1:08.28. On the men’s side Grant Roberts was a double winner taking the 100 and 400 meter dashes. Princeton Clack won the 200 meter dash with Breckin Cicalo finishing 3rd. Clack was 3rd up in the 400 and 100. Lennox Naswell was a double winner taking first in the 800 and 1600 meter runs. Naswell led 7 Chargers under the 5 minute barrier. The Chargers swept the relays with the all senior team of Julian Alkazaha, Dominic Wizgird, Revan Helal and Aiden Walsh winning the 400 meter relay. In the 800 meter relay Michael Caudle subbed in for Wizgird and the result was the same with the Chargers winning. Tyler Wood led a 1-4 sweep in the high jump. Michael Caudle was 2nd. Anthony Stevenson was 3rd and Shivan Srivastava was 4th. Wood's personal record height of 6'1 moved him up to 7th all time. Alex Bissett was 2nd in the discus throw with a personal record 125’9.
