Powers Catholic High School

The Powers JV golf team opened its competitive season on Masters weekend where they competed alongside the varsity squad. On Saturday Wednesday (4/11) they competed in an Early Bird Tournament at Ironwood GC in Howell. The team placed 15th out of 25 Varsity & JV teams. Team medalist was sophomore Cooper Hill with a score of 80. Junior Andrew Snyder followed up with an 86. The team also competed in the Hartland EarlyBird Invitational hosted at Dunham Hills on Tuesday last week. Powers scored a team 339, finishing 12th out of 25 teams. Low scorers for Powers were freshman Michael Foskett (78), Junior Andrew Snyder (80) and sophomore Jason Coughlin (84). The JV squad will be back in action on Thursday and Saturday this week!
