Charger Baseball Takes Series Behind Borg’s One-Hitter Powers rode Michael Borg’s complete game one-hitter to a 5-0 shutout versus Lapeer. The victory clinched a series win for Powers. Borg only allowed four hits and Kael Morningstar caught the gem. Landon Bohanon delivered a 2-run single to stake the Chargers to an early lead in three-run first inning rally. Logan Gowan smashed a pair of hits and drove in two. Kane Sekelsky added two hits and an RBI. Powers played error-free baseball led by stellar infield play by Simmons, Sturgess, Corcoran, and Bohanon. A good, clean win for a 6-3 overall record, 4-1 in the SVL race. The team takes on Grand Blanc next week
