JV Boys Golf

The Powers JV golf team competed on Friday (5/1) at Kensington MetroPark. The line-up consisted of only upperclassmen as the youngsters were in school taking the Pre-ACT. Jr. Colin Crumm led the team with a 75. Jr. Andrew Snyder added a season best, 79. A quick 9 hole SVL match was held at Davison Country Club on Monday (5/4) where Fr. Henry Williams shot the low score for the team (46). The team finished 2nd to Bay City Western, topping strong Davison & GB squads. The JV team also competed in the Red/Orange JV Invitational hosted at Taylor Meadows in Taylor on Thursday. Powers posted a team 337 which earned the squad a 12th place finish out of 21 of the very best JV squads in the state. Low scorers for Powers were So. Cooper Hill (79) and Fr. Michael Foskett (81). The JV squad has only 3 events left on the season and is looking to finish strong!
