Powers Varsity Golf completed its regular season Wednesday with a 7 th place finish at the SVL Championships held at the Fortress in Frankenmuth. Grand Blanc (297) won the event propelling them to the league title. Powers fired a 323 led by freshman Cooper Sexton (78) and Sophomore Carter Semple (80). Powers had 4 golfers earn league honors. Named to the 2nd team all-conference were, Cooper Sexton, Carter Semple, and senior Jack Johnson. Junior Holden Hendershot was selected as a honorable mention selection. Powers will next compete in the MHSAA Regional 11 finals on 05/26 to be held at the Flint Golf Club.
