Flint Powers jumped ahead in the singles races, while Ann Arbor Father Gabriel Richard answered with three doubles victories to pull even. At No. 1 singles, Flint Powers Catholic’s Siddharth Srivastava opened the day with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Micah Livingston. Ace Akinpeloye followed with a dominant 6-0, 6-0 sweep at No. 2 singles, and Asher Akinpeloye added another point for Flint Powers at No. 3 singles with a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Louis Woodsum. Ann Arbor Father Gabriel Richard kept itself in the match with wins at No. 4 singles and both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. Matthew Joshua held off Joseph Buerge 6-4, 6-4, while Simon Schroer and Conner Grohar outlasted Weston Landesman and Joseph Tian 7-5, 6-3 at the top doubles spot. The closest match of the day came at No. 2 doubles, where Andrew Stout and Alex Skoczylas survived a three-set battle against Charlie Morgan and Blake Bridges, 6-1, 5-7, 10-7. The closest match came at No. 2 doubles, where Henry Larvick and Harrison Hoover dropped the first set 4-6 before responding with a 6-0 second set and a 10-5 super-tiebreak win over Charlie Morgan and Blake Bridges.
