CHARGERS BATTLE GRAND BLANC TO A SCORELESS DRAW ⚡️⚽️ Powers Catholic and Grand Blanc went toe-to-toe Monday night in a physical, back-and-forth battle that ended 0-0. The intensity was there from the opening whistle. A chippy first half saw Grand Blanc pick up a couple of yellow cards as both teams battled for control. Each side created chances, but neither could find the finish, sending the match into halftime scoreless. The physical play continued in the second half, with fouls and cards going both ways. Powers controlled much of the possession, but Grand Blanc remained dangerous and both teams created opportunities to break the deadlock. The goalkeepers had other plans. Logan Sliwka came up with a couple of big saves when the Chargers needed them, while the Grand Blanc keeper answered at the other end. Neither was willing to give up the clean sheet.
