🏆 CHAMPIONS! 🏐 JV Volleyball brought home the Championship Trophy at the Avondale High School Tournament on Saturday, September 12th! 🎉 The team had an incredible tournament, defeating Cranbrook in two straight sets in the semifinals before taking down Farmington in two straight sets to claim the Championship! Every member of this team contributed to the win, and they played with incredible heart, determination, and teamwork from start to finish! Gigi Dietrich dominated in the back row, coming up with key digs while leading the team with a positive attitude, and a fearless pursuit of every ball and somehow keeping seemingly impossible balls alive. Lauren McIntosh, Gigi Dietrich, and Jillian Crumm each led game-clinching service runs that helped secure the championship! Maria Babiasz made smart plays and delivered big hits at the net when her team needed them most. Jillian Crumm produced huge kills at the net, scoring crucial points throughout the tournament. Gabby was a consistent all-around player, making an impact at the net, in the back row, and from the service line! What an incredible TEAM EFFORT!
