The Chargers opened the scoring with 14:37 left in the first half when Jake McKay delivered a corner into the box and Colin Johnson rose up to head it home for the early 1-0 lead. Powers kept the pressure on, and just before halftime, McKay created one himself. With only 22 seconds remaining, Jake drove through the defense, waited for the keeper to commit and calmly finished to make it 2-0 at the break. The Chargers came out firing again in the second half. ⚽️ With 28:04 left to play, Mason Mather set up Lincoln Rainney, who sent it home for a 3-0 lead. ⚽️ At 17:53, Charlie Allen found Mather, who provided the finish to make it 4-0. ⚽️ Then came a familiar combination.
