LAPEER, MI - What an incredible performance by the Powers swim team! Our swimmers brought energy, determination, and teamwork to the pool, delivering an outstanding meet and earning victories across the board. The team came away with two impressive dual-meet wins: 🏆 Powers 115 – Lapeer 31 🏆 Powers 109 – Bay City Central 41 Our relay teams set the tone early, with the 200 Medley Relay team of Piper, Patton, L. Potochny, and Haj taking first place, followed by Vargo, Roche, Panos, and Dawkins securing second. The individual events were filled with standout performances and top finishes. Charley Patton, Ava Vargo, Sara Piper, and Lily Potochny each captured first-place victories, while Maria Haj, Kennedi Dawkins, Sophie Cichy, Ilianna Panos, and Anna Roche added multiple podium finishes throughout the meet. The team continued to shine in the relays, claiming victories in the 200 Freestyle Relay and 400 Freestyle Relay, showcasing the depth, speed, and teamwork that make this group so special.
