🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ CHARGERS RISE TO THE CHALLENGE AT THE HOLLY INVITATIONAL! 🌧️⛰️ The rain, hills, and muddy conditions were no match for the Powers Catholic Cross Country teams, who turned in an outstanding performance at the Holly Invitational! 💙 GIRLS FINISH 6TH — EVERY RUNNER SETS A PR OR SEASON BEST! The Powers girls faced a damp, challenging, and hilly course and delivered an impressive team performance, finishing 6th overall. Even with the tough conditions, every Powers girl ran either a personal best or season-best time! 🏅 Medaling for the Chargers: Mila Villarreal — 7th Victoria Bouchey — 16th Jade McCormick — 20th Maria Haj — 29th Ava Clark also ran an outstanding time in the Open race! 💪 BOYS A TEAM TAKES 2ND! As the rain continued to fall and the course became increasingly muddy and challenging, the Powers Boys A Team battled their way to a 2nd-place finish! Leading the Chargers was Lennox Naswell, who finished 2nd overall, followed by Ben Bouchey in 5th. 🏅 Also earning medals for Powers: Ryan Rathsburg Alex Iordanou Charlie Penneau Daniel Newman Johnny Boike 🔥 BOYS B TEAM FINISHES 8TH The Boys B Team also battled through the difficult conditions to finish 8th. Miles Muxlow led the way, narrowly missing a medal by just one spot. He was followed closely by Nolan Campbell and Cy Gerke, with Noah Tiong and Joe Kudwa completing the team scoring. ⏱️ PERSONAL & SEASON BESTS The Chargers continued to push themselves despite the muddy, hilly course. Personal Bests: Daniel Newman, Nolan Campbell, Joe Kudwa, Jacob Monroe, Tadhg Murphy and Gabriel Golz. Season Bests: Miles Muxlow, Cy Gerke, Noah Tiong and Kaden Monroe. 🌧️ Rain. Mud. Hills.
