Powers 7 – Elkton-Pigeon Bay 0 The Chargers wasted no time at Atwood last night, cruising to a commanding shutout victory over the Lakers. Powers struck early with goals from senior Revon Halel, junior Jake Ferguson, and senior Logan Johnson. Despite a gritty effort from the Lakers, the Chargers’ attack proved too sharp to contain, as juniors William Bade and Cooper Villaire each found the back of the net twice to seal the win. Next up, Powers faces one of its toughest opponents of the season, defending Division 1 state champion Rochester Adams, Tuesday, August 19th at 7:15 p.m. at Rochester Adams High School.
