Powers Catholic High School

This past weekend, the Varsity Volleyball team kicked off their season with two strong tournament showings. On Friday, the team traveled to Linden to face off against programs including Linden, Notre Dame Prep, and Goodrich. Playing with focus and teamwork, they finished 2nd in their pool and earned 4th place overall. After a late night of competition, the girls were back on the court early Saturday morning at Mt. Morris High School for their second tournament. Despite the quick turnaround, they battled through fatigue to once again take 2nd in their pool, advancing to the gold bracket. With powerful serves, tough defense, and smart plays, they went on to claim 3rd place overall. The team now shifts their focus to practice as they prepare for their next quad at Freeland on September 3 at 5:00 p.m.
