Powers Catholic High School

All 3 levels of volleyball beat Lapeer tonight. Freshman won 2 of 3 sets, JV took all 3 and Varsity won the first 3 sets to earn their first conference win. With excellent defensive plays by Ellie Brooks and Sammie Sly, Lapeer couldn't put the ball down on our side. And with 3 strong hitters mixing it up, the girls kept the Lapeer defense scrambling. Wednesday, the Varsity team travels to Garber for a quad and Thursday we host Grand Blanc for our first home game.
