Saturday the Powers Varsity boys soccer team took on Bay City Western in an SVL crossover matchup and came out strong. Senior defender Grant Roberts wasted no time, putting one in just a minute into the match and adding another shortly after to make it 2-0. Junior Lincoln Rainney drew a foul in the box, and senior Revan Helal buried the PK to extend the lead. Powers held strong to finish with a 3-1 win.
