The Varsity boys ended the week with a 8-0 win over Bay City Central & a 4-4 tie with Lapeer! Four of them 8 flights didn’t allow BCC to get a game on the board and all finished in 2 quick sets, easily sweeping the Wolves. On Thursday, the Chargers battled with Lapeer Lightening as both teams showed up to win! 2 singles, Brody Campbell finished off Lapeer’s Ever Miller in 3 sets after going down 2-6 in his first set. On the doubles courts, the 2D team of Shivam Srivastava & Andrew Tiong added another W to their 10-1 season record by defeating Lapeer in 2 sets 6-3, 6-4. 1D, Ace & Asher Akinpeloye, and 4D, Easton Davidson & Tyler Wood, all started off with a loss in the first set, but then rallied to win the next two sets for the match! 3D, Sam Scully & Joseph Buerge, left it all on the court falling in their first set 6-4 to then dominate 6-3 in the second set. The third set ended in a set tiebreak and match heartbreak but walked off the court with their heads held high. Nice work to the entire team!
