Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Swim and Dive Team on a fantastic performance at the Genesee County Invitational this weekend. Notable individual performances included 200 Freestyle (Victoria Bouchey - 11th Place and Alyson Chupa - 13th Place); 200 Individual Medley (Sara Piper - 3rd Place and Lily Potochny - 8th Place); 50 Freestyle (Abby Custack - 2nd Place and Loly Yapchai - 8th Place); 100 Butterfly (Lily Potochny - 7th Place, Maria Haj - 9th Place, and Paige Scully - 14th Place); 100 Freestyle (Abby Custack - 1st Place; Loly Yapchai - 8th Place); 500 Freestyle (Alyson Chupa 15th Place); 100 Backstroke (Sara Piper - 5th Place and Catie Campbell - 15th Place); and 100 Breaststroke (Maria Haj - 8th Place and Victoria Bouchey - 11th Place). The 200 Medley Relay team of Alyson Chupa, Victoria Bouchey, Lily Potochny, and Maria Haj finished in 6th place. Cheers to Abby Custack (50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle) Sara Piper (200 Individual Medley and 100 Backstroke) who are now qualified to compete at the Division 3 State Championship! And special congratulations to Abby Custack (50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle), Sara Piper (200 Individual Medley and 100 Backstroke), and Lily Potochny (100 Butterfly) who qualified to swim in the 2025 Girls MISCA Meet next month.
