On Monday evening the Boys’ JV Soccer team took on Saginaw Valley Lutheran at Atwood Stadium for their fifth contest of the year. It was slow going from the onset, but eventually the Chargers were able to break through and go into the half with a 1-0 lead via a goal from Cooper Villaire. At the start of the second half, the Chargers were able to build on their lead with goals from Aidan Walsh and Revan Helal. Dramatics were not quite over as Saginaw Valley Lutheran was awarded a penalty which was then saved by first time goalkeeper Jude Goergen! The final score was 3-0 to the men of Powers High School! With the victory the Boys’ JV team improved their record to 4-1 with their fourth shutout in a row
