The boys swam at Heritage in a double dual meet with Saginaw Heritage and Bay City Central. They put up some great times, PRs. and wins! If we only had a diver!!
The Medley Relay team of Will Gross, Bryce Gross, Liam Seifert and Nate Fisher took first!
Max Piper took second in the 200 Free dropping almost 3 seconds, and Bryce Gross dropped 4 seconds to take second place in the 200 IM.
Nate Fisher and Ethan Ratynski went 2nd and 3rd in the 50 free, with Ethan dropping two seconds!
Will Gross came back to drop 1 second in the 100 Fly to take second place, followed by a commanding win for Liam Seifert in the 100 free, a race that saw freshman Paul Fisher drop 22 seconds and Julian Alkazaha drop an incredible 11.42 seconds!
In the 500 free, Nate Fisher and Max Piper came in first and third, with Max turning right around to anchor the 200 Free relay team of Will Gross, Liam Seifert and Ethan Ratynski. It was a close with Will Gross leading out in a 22.8 split, but in the end Powers touched second.
No rest for Will or Liam as they jumped right back in the pool to go first and second in the 100 back!
Sophomore Bryce Gross won the 100 breast by dropping 2.30 seconds, only to line back up to anchor the next and last event, the 400 Free relay with the fastest split for that team. Nate Fisher, Ethan Ratynski, Max Piper and Bryce won that event to close out the night.
In the end, both matchups were within a handful of points...we won one and lost one, but without any diving points, that is a huge night!
Next up is counties! Come out to cheer the team at Fenton High School next week!
